Social Media Implementation Plan: Education-benchmarking trip to Finland for Polish education experts in July 2022 (LA#3)

Poland Foundation is planning a 5 days Education-benchmarking
trip to Finland for Polish education experts in second week of July 2022. The objective of
the study trip is to get to know Finnish teaching methods in basic and
vocational education. The participation early-bird-fee is 300€ per person and
covers 50% of all the costs of transportation in Finland, meetings, trainings
and social events. The trip will officially start from Turku airport and
continue via Oulu region to Ruka-Kuusamo.
The social
media strategy is as follows. The event will be mentioned on the Finn-Way, Finlandia
SPOT and Finnway Polska organizations’ social media platforms, starting from
September 2021. Finnway Poland Foundation will be responsible for sharing the
information among such partners in Poland as Honorary Consulate of Finland in Poznan,
Finnish Embassy in Warsaw, Polish Leader Org., Wielkopolska Marshal Office and
directors of Polish primary schools in the Wielkopolska region.
The reminding information will be
updated on social media every first Monday of the month, as long as the list of
participants gets full. Signing up for
the trip will be possible max until 3 months before the trip so that the participants
can plan to attend.
The PR
campaign will focus on such following social media platforms as Facebook,
Linked In and Instagram. All social media partners and friends will be kindly
asked to share the POST on their stories on Facebook and Instagram and possibly
WhatsUp. Later, as the trip approaches, there will be a post that has the
detailed plan of the trip as well as the live video invitation from Finnish
partners – directors of Finnish schools and organizations.
There will
be also a number of emails, WhatsUp messages sent directly to all the “old
partners” about the trip, including a link to the social medias. This may help
reach some super busy partners who don’t use social media all the time.
The tools mentioned
above are chosen because these platforms are popular among schools and
organizations in Poland and all previous trips and events used to be promoted
via these social media. The keywords used in social media are: Finnish
education, study trip Finland, job-shadowing in Finland, benchmarking in
Finland, educational tourism Finland).
The PR target
group – directors of primary schools and vocational schools, as well as
representatives of such support organizations as Marshall Office, LGD Leader, etc.
There is a goal of getting different representatives for the in order to
provide cross-sectoral experience in the Polish-study-group.
This implementation
plan will solve the typical problem related to misinformation or lack of
information, which are sometimes an accusation of partiality in the flow of
information to only selected institutions in the region.
